BRIGHT / forma uses modern website and application platforms to deliver projects efficiently.
Depending on the requirements of your website, we may choose to use:
- Wix
- Wix Studio
- Lovable
- Base44
- or another suitable professional platform or technology
Unless a particular platform has been specifically agreed in writing before work begins, the choice of platform is at BRIGHT / forma's reasonable discretion.
We may consider:
- functionality
- design requirements
- integrations
- usability
- performance
- ongoing management
- available features
- operating costs
- technical suitability
Your purchase is for the agreed website service and outcome rather than a guarantee that a particular production platform will be used.
5. Platform, hosting and ongoing costs
The £495 fee covers our website design, copy, build and setup service.
It does not include ongoing third-party costs unless expressly stated.
Depending on the platform used, you may need to purchase and maintain:
- a website or hosting plan
- a Wix Premium or Wix Studio plan
- a Lovable or Base44 plan
- domain registration
- paid applications
- email services
- premium integrations
- other software or subscriptions
Before launch, we will explain what ongoing services are reasonably required to keep your website live.
These costs are normally paid directly by you to the relevant third-party provider.
Third-party providers control their own prices, plans, functionality and terms and may change them from time to time.
6. Domain name
You will need a domain name for your website.
Where Wix is used, your domain can normally be purchased directly through Wix.
Where another platform is used, your domain may be purchased or managed through another suitable provider.
If you already own a domain, we can normally help connect it to your new website.
Domain purchase and renewal costs are separate from the £495 fee unless expressly agreed otherwise.
7. We will help you get live
You will not simply be handed a finished website and expected to manage the launch yourself.
As part of the standard package, we will provide reasonable assistance to:
- identify the appropriate website/platform plan
- help you purchase or connect your domain
- configure the standard domain connection
- complete the normal launch process
- get your website live
After launch, maintaining and renewing the domain, website plan, hosting, paid apps and other third-party subscriptions becomes your responsibility.
8. What we need from you
You agree to provide the information, content, assets and access reasonably required to complete your website.
This may include:
- business information
- products and services
- contact details
- logos
- brand assets
- photography
- social-media information
- existing website details
- domain information
- booking links
- technical access
- feedback and approvals
You are responsible for ensuring information supplied to us is accurate.
Where we prepare copy based on information you provide, you must check factual information before approving the website for launch.
9. Turnaround
Our target turnaround for the standard Website Package is:
7 working days once we have received everything reasonably required to begin the project.
This is a target, not an unconditional guarantee.
The timetable may be affected by:
- delayed information
- missing assets
- delayed access
- delayed feedback
- changes to the brief
- additional requirements
- third-party technical issues
- circumstances outside our reasonable control
Payment alone does not start the seven-working-day period if we are still waiting for information or material needed to begin.
10. Revisions
The standard package includes:
one consolidated round of reasonable revisions within the agreed scope.
A revision is an amendment to work already created.
It does not include:
- substantially changing the original brief
- starting again with a completely different creative direction
- significant rewriting after approval
- additional pages
- additional functionality
- repeated changes of mind
- unlimited amendment rounds
Additional work may be quoted separately.
11. Client delays
If we are waiting for information, access, feedback or approval from you, the project timetable will move accordingly.
If we receive no meaningful response for 30 days, we may classify the project as inactive and archive it.
Restarting an archived project will depend on current availability.
Where significant additional work is required to restart the project, we may quote separately before proceeding.
12. Approval and launch
You will have an opportunity to review the finished website before launch.
When you approve the website for launch, you confirm that you are satisfied with the agreed work and have checked the factual information relating to your business.
Once approved, we will provide the agreed assistance required to get the website live.
Ongoing updates and future development are not included unless covered by Website Care or separately agreed.
13. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a website project by notifying us in writing.
If you cancel before substantive work has begun, we will consider a refund less any unavoidable third-party or payment-processing costs already incurred.
Once substantive work has begun, the £495 fee is normally non-refundable because production time has been committed and work has commenced.
If BRIGHT / forma is unable to provide the purchased service for reasons within our control and no reasonable alternative can be agreed, we will refund an appropriate amount for any material part of the service which has not been supplied.
Nothing in this clause affects rights which cannot legally be excluded.
Website Care
14. Website Care — £49/month
Website Care is an optional recurring service costing:
£49/month
It includes up to:
30 minutes of minor website updates per billing month.
Examples include:
- changing text
- replacing supplied photographs
- updating opening hours
- updating prices
- changing contact information
- updating existing links
- updating existing buttons
- other minor amendments within the existing website structure
Website Care is intended for small ongoing changes.
It is not an emergency or guaranteed same-day support service.
15. Website Care exclusions
Website Care does not include:
- new pages
- substantial redesign
- new functionality
- ecommerce work
- bespoke development
- major technical work
- extensive copywriting
- extensive design work
- SEO campaigns
- platform subscriptions
- hosting
- domain costs
- paid apps
- work outside the existing website structure
Where a request falls outside the allowance or scope, we will tell you before undertaking additional chargeable work.
16. Website Care subscription
Website Care is charged monthly in advance.
Unused time:
- does not roll over
- cannot be accumulated
- cannot be transferred
- has no cash value
There is no fixed long-term commitment unless otherwise agreed.
You may cancel before your next renewal date.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
Payments already taken are not normally refunded simply because the full allowance has not been used.
SEO
17. Basic SEO
Basic on-page SEO setup is included within the £495 Website Package.
This is designed to give the website a sensible technical and on-page foundation.
It is not an ongoing SEO campaign and does not guarantee search rankings.

Where appropriate, specialist SEO work may include:

- heading structure
- schema markup
- internal-linking improvements
- sitemap submission
- local search set-up and optimisation
- other relevant technical SEO improvements
19. Specialist SEO scope and pricing
Specialist SEO is quoted individually for each business.
Scope and price depend on the website, the platform, the sector and what the business is trying to achieve.
The exact scope, price and any support period are agreed in writing with you before payment is taken.
20. Specialist SEO support
We may use a specialist SEO partner or contractor to provide some or all of the SEO service.
Your agreement remains with BRIGHT / forma unless expressly stated otherwise.
Necessary website information and access may be shared with that specialist to deliver the agreed service.
Our supplier arrangements, supplier costs and commercial margins are confidential.
21. SEO platform suitability
Our standard specialist SEO packages may be primarily suited to Wix and Wix Studio websites.
Where your website is built using Lovable, Base44 or another platform, we will assess whether the standard package is appropriate before accepting payment.
We may recommend a different service, quote separately or decline a standard SEO package where appropriate.
22. SEO results
Search-engine performance depends on factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee:
- first-page rankings

- specific keyword rankings
- traffic increases
- leads

- inclusion in AI-generated search results
We will provide the agreed SEO service with reasonable care and skill.

For a one-off service, our total aggregate liability will not normally exceed the amount paid for that specific service.
For Website Care, our total aggregate liability will not normally exceed the amount paid for that service during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
